“I am the founder and co-owner of BBBB. I’m a hair and makeup artist, mom, wife, and iced coffee lover. I started out in the beauty industry 16 years ago after attending the Aveda Institute and worked as a stylist at Aveda salons. I then went on to take continuing education in fusion, tape in, and hand tied extensions. I found my love of updos and all things bridal after having my son in 2014, and have been loving the travel and work with each unique and beautiful bride ever since! I especially love doing relaxed, textured updos, and anything with braids.
My family relocated to the Seattle area in late 2021 and we have been so lucky to expand the business, build and amazing team here in the PNW.
When I’m not doing hair and makeup, I love to spend time with my family, be outdoors, do macrame, and travel.”

In 2017 I graduated with honors from John Casablancas Institute in Vancouver, BC from their 400 hour Fashion and Beauty makeup program and in 2018 I made weddings and freelance work my main focus

I work with a wide variety of brands/ lines and incorporate a mixture of professional, luxury, and consumer lines. When choosing products for my kit I choose only products that I've personally tested on myself and models and found them to be up to my performance standards.
I like to spend the time giving everyone the most naturally flawless & healthy looking skin that I can, It's important to me to give attention to detail on this as I feel it is the foundation (no pun intended) of any good makeup look.
My goal is to play off of each of my client's unique personalities and play up their favorite facial features to bring out their most confident self. In addition to that I really enjoy either timeless, soft, and bridal looks or fun, stylish, non traditional looks where I can pull inspiration from fashion or vintage styling.

“I have been a professional makeup artist for 17 years and a hair stylist for 15 years. I come from the era of 'self taught' and learning from the masters of the art. From a theater stage in high school where I found my passion for the fashion of the beauty industry in the early 2000's to Off Broadway productions. Next film, runway, production and publication lead me back to my real love; one on ones with clients on one of the biggest days of their lives.
I have always loved the way that makeup and hair can change the way someone looks but I most love the way that it changes the way it makes someone feel inside and out. Bridal/event work is not just an artist coming in and doing hair and makeup and leaving; we a shoulder, an ear, a therapist, an outside viewpoint, an unbiased and honest opinion, a diffuser, a party starter, a jokester, a peace keeper, a moment reminder. I love to help and be there for people. Being there for someone on such a large day of their lives and having fun with hair and makeup, what is there not to love?
My favorite thing about the wedding industry is the REALNESS. Production, film, publication, etc there is so much that goes into those looks. So many filters, lights, photoshop, applications and the lists go on. The wedding and event industry, clients want to look and feel like themselves. They want to be themselves with a little something to enhance and that to me is the best. The realness.
I don't particularly have a favorite look per say because I just love to do makeup, I would say I have more of a favorite request. When I have a client in their 70's/80's that wants full glam. Confidence is everything in makeup. Makeup has no rules, only theories!
I have a large background in special effects and doing that with my son is so much fun to me. He is a little horror head like myself and so anything that has to do with the spooky we love. He loves when I teach him how to do special effects or makeup looks on him. “

“I have been working in the beauty industry for 6 years, and this is my third year doing bridal makeup! I received my makeup education from Tint School of Makeup and Cosmetology, which I graduated from in 2016.
I have always loved all things weddings since I was a little girl and doing makeup has been my passion since I was 11 years old. I was often practicing makeup on others or staying up late to do makeup on myself! I always dreamed of doing makeup professionally so as I got older, I began to pursue my dream and found my place in the bridal industry.
My favorite thing about the industry?
I love working with lots of other incredibly supportive women, as well as getting to express myself and my artistic side through my makeup.
I love soft glam to full glam makeup! Fresh looking skin with a little more of a glam look on the eyes is my favorite.

”I’ve been in the industry for 17 years. I started working with Bare Essentials as my first makeup job right out of high school. I worked for them in Texas and transferred back to Seattle. I started doing freelance work after 10 years in retail. I started hair styling 8 years ago and added that to my skill set. I love makeup and hair equally!
After finishing school I received my first bridal client thru friend recommendations. What made me fall in love with bridal and special event work was that we makeup & hair artists are the first vendors the bride sees on her day. We set the tone of how her day gets started ! I think that’s so special and so unique! I love meeting their friends and families and exploring their venues. It’s so personable!
This industry is always growing and changing. It’s never in the same trends or products which keeps it new and fresh. It makes me want to keep learning and perfecting my skills.

How long have you been working in the beauty industry & your background? - I’ve been working in the Beauty Industry for about 3 years. My 1st year in 2020 I invested into becoming my own business owner and Beauty Influencer for Farmasi. Towards the end of 2020 and going into 2021 I really started diving into providing Freelance Makeup and Hair services for Special Occasions like Proms, Photoshoots, Bridal Services, Business Branding Projects and so much more with either followers, customers, clients or other creatives I’ve worked and collaborated with in the past along with recommended clientele. I’ve made good connections with Hair Stylists, Makeup Artists, Salons, Spas and many more to really achieve my goals of creating a good recommendation for clientele. Jumping into 2022 I got the opportunity to contract with Elite Production Studio as a (Executive Assistant, Model, Makeup and Hair Director, Graphic Designer and Network Marketer) , A Vancouver based bridal company as a hair and makeup assistant, and Blush & Braids Beauty Bar as a (Freelance/ Bridal Makeup & Hair Services) which has created an accelerated motion of endless flowing opportunities for so much growth and knowledge. I strive to inspire others to shine in their own Authentic Beauty while providing many unique services and catering to the clients unique needs.
I fell in love with doing makeup and hair for photoshoots and special occasions because of the genuine connection with the client, their reaction to the end results and seeing their eyes light up when they see another side of themselves and being able to teach people about themselves a little more and how to use the products to the best of their ability. My very first Bridal Service was October 2020 for a Halloween themed Wedding and I will never forget the passion that was ignited inside me that day. Having the opportunity to assist such beautiful souls during such a core moment in their lives in such a creative way has been one of the biggest blessings and opportunities in my life. I’ve been honored to experience and be a part of such genuine beautiful moments and that's something I truly want to continue doing and never even thought I would be doing in my life. Being able to create art on a daily basis is what I love to do and I will continue to do what I love and love what I do.
